50 Things To Do This Fall

For about the last three weeks here in London it has done nothing but rain. Rain, rain, rain… rain and more rain! It’s pretty miserable, but hey- what can you do? Lots of plans of mine have been rained off- or I’ve gone ahead with them and come home soaked to the bone!

So anyway, I got to thinking about some seasonal things I can do to cheer up inside, even if I can’t go outside much. I made a pretty long list, and I’m going to share it with you- my 50 things (plus one extra one because I simply couldn’t resist) to do this fall! I did end up including a bunch of outdoor ones too because I figured that not everywhere in the world is miserable and wet right now!

So here goes- 50 things to do this fall!

  1. Watch seasonal movies and eat toffee popcorn
  2. Drink hot chocolate
  3. Have a bonfire
  4. Do an art project
  5. Go thrift shopping
  6. Drink pumpkin spice drinks
  7. Do a fall photoshoot
  8. Decorate your home or your room with seasonal décor
  9. Read some classic novels
  10. Build a cosy blanket den and watch movies inside it
  11. Go pumpkin picking
  12. Make pumpkin pie with the pumpkins you pick
  13. Go on walks to places where you can see pretty fall colours
  14. Go apple picking
  15. Listen to seasonal music
  16. Make homemade soup
  17. Sort through your wardrobe (good one for a rainy day!)
  18. Make s’mores
  19. Press colourful leaves
  20. Get fall nails painted/ paint your own!
  21. Make your own Halloween costume
  22. Go to a corn maze
  23. Have a pumpkin carving contest
  24. Make warm apple cider
  25. Go to a farm shop
  26. Go on a hike
  27. Plan a murder mystery game
  28. Buy cosy sweaters
  29. Pottery painting (hot chocolate mugs)
  30. Play card games in front of the fire
  31. Volunteer at a food bank or homeless shelter
  32. Jump in a leaf pile (and take photos)
  33. Make your own candy
  34. Make toffee apples
  35. Take a warm bath with scented candles
  36. Paint pumpkins
  37. Make apple pie
  38. Go on a bike ride
  39. Take a drive through some colourful forests
  40. Wrap up warm with a scarf and gloves
  41. Read a murder mystery book
  42. Go on a fall picnic
  43. Hang up fairy lights
  44. Visit some local Christmas lights (they seem to go up pretty early)
  45. Make seasonal friendship bracelets
  46. Do a jigsaw puzzle
  47. Collect conkers and pine cones
  48. Make a wreath (using the conkers and pine cones)
  49. Go to the library with a hot drink
  50. Visit a craft shop
  51. Go stargazing
