Weekly Inspo + Art Dump

Hey there, sweet friend! How are you doing today? How has your week gotten off to a start?

Last week I had the week off school and it’s never very fun going back to school after a break, but here we are! One upside to the misery that is school is the weather- it’s been really lovely (especially for February) the past few days! The sun has been out and I’ve been outside without a coat or jacket plenty of times! Last Sunday I went for a walk with my dad and my pup- the sun was shining and little purple and white flowers were pushing their way out of the ground under the trees- spring is most definitely on the way, and my heart leaps with that knowledge!

I don’t have an awful lot for you today, but I thought it might be fun to share some encouraging quotes and artwork I’ve designed recently… I’m sure I’m not the only one of us who loves a little bit of midweek encouragement!

I hope you find something here to encourage or inspire you, sweet friend!

And let’s chat in the comments below! I love love love hearing what you’ve been up to or how you’re doing, or even if there is anything I can be praying about for you! Tell me something exciting, or let me know how the weather is by you! What have you baked recently? What are you listening too at the moment? Whatever it is, I love hearing from you!!

  1. Hi Megan

As always love your blogs. As a point of interest the little purple and white flowers are crocus! Just so you know.!! As you say its lovely to see them flowering. A real sign of hope. Guess now you are back at school you will have to forget blogging for awhile and concentrate on those looming exams. It sounds a bore I know but its only for a couple of months. You have such huge potential my darling. I know its been a very hard year for you youngsters but things will seem more normal again very soon. Only 10days and you will be physically walking back to school. You will enjoy chatting with friends and working hard together. Thinking of you as always and all of you. My prayer is that you will find that inner strength I know you have , to get down to it and make yourself proud in those exams Love you as always.

Grandma( you will really have to show me how I can sign my name with a flourish like you do. Xxxxxx

    1. Thank you grandma! Oh yes, crocus does ring a bell… they really were beautiful.
Yes, school has been quite full on these past couple of days, I think blogging may have to take the backseat, although I have a few drafts saved up that I can publish at random points. We’ve been finding out a bit more about our exams which is good… and starting to do more revision which is not so good. And I can’t wait to get back into school and see everyone again!! Love you too and thank you for you lovely message! Megan xxx
(P.S. I will definitely show you how to sign your name with a flourish later) xx

  2. Heyy Megan!! Omigoodness, these pictures are so pretty! 😍🤗 How do you make them? Well, since you said “chat” … 🤣 I loove crocuses too!! We used to have them at our old house and gah! They’re so cute and pointy! I’ve been doing amazing … slacking off on working out, as usual, 🤣 but I got back on track again today! The weather is soo much warmer than it’s been in the past few weeks of cold snap, which I’m so grateful for! Hanging out outside is a lot nicer! Hmmm, baking … well, we’re out of eggs! 😂 But we’re planning on getting some so that we can make Hamentaschen (“Hamans hats”) a really yummy cookie, traditional to make in remembrance of Purim, the day when the Jews were given freedom to fight to protect themselves (like in the book of Esther.) Maybe I’ll post some pics on my blog! We just celebrate for fun, and watch the same Esther movie every year *snores as I fall asleep thinking of watching that same 2-hour movie AGAIN…*
And, I guess, (since I’m not listening to music, I’m listening to the clock tick, to my brother flipping pages, and to the tapping of my laptop keys! 🤣 Does that count?
Anyhoow, (this comment is way too long! 🤣) but I hope you enjoyed it! Love ya!

    1. Hiii Makayla! Thank you so so much! I made them on our iPad using this app called procreate, it basically allows you to do all kinds of drawing, painting and lettering but on a screen!
Slacking off work is just great haha, I’m glad you’re doing well though! Yay, it’s so exciting that the weather is getting warmer, when the cold months turn into spring is the best time of the year (except summer of course haha). When you restock up on your eggs be sure to post some pics of the Hamentaschen cookies- I looked them up and they look so scrummy! I’ll let you have ‘school themes background noise’ as your listening to- I’ll be honest, I do find background noise like that kind of relaxing!
Agh, thank you for commenting, reading through it made me laugh! 😂 Love ya too! 💛

And I am definitely inspired by this because it’s so aesthetic that it makes me wanna do stuff too. Did you write these on your own (the calligraphy), because i think i’m in love. And even if you didn’t, I love it all the same. Can’t wait to see more posts from youuu ❤️ I’m so in love with your blog.
