Journaling Bible Flip Through

Happy happy happy Wednesday, friend! How are you doing?

I’ve been self isolating recently, which means a LOOOT of time stuck in my bedroom, watching Netflix (Dawson’s Creek, Gilmore Girls, I’m coming for yaaa!!) and not much time anywhere esle. One thing I have been doing to pass a bit of time, however is catching up on some Bible journaling. I’ve had an art journal Bible for quite, and all this free time has given me a reason to get back into it, so here I present to you: MY JOURNAL BIBLE FLIP THROUGH!

That’s it friends! That’s all for this lil’ art dump, but tell me, do you like to journal in your Bible?

(P.S. I don’t take credit for the design behind all of these, some of them were definetly inspired by what other people have posted on Pinterest, although they are all my own copies!)

  2. Oh, how pretty, Megan! I have a journaling Bible as well, but I’ve only done a few art designs. I’m not a very artistic person, so it’s hard haha! But your images are an inspiration for some simple ideas that I can do! 😁

    1. Awwwee thank you, Heaven! Lol I totally get not being super artistic… that’s why I like this style of art so much because I can just do simple designs if that’s all I can come up with and it’s still something creative! But I’m glad you liked these!! 😆😆

  3. Oh, this is absolutely beautiful! I’m inspired. I saw one of my favourite Youtuber’s with an art bible too. One of those pretty ones with the watercolour floral covers. A great idea indeed! Makes bible study more visually engaging and helps you better connect with the words x

    1. Oh thank you Maryam!! Oh yes, I know the ones you mean… so gorgeous! And they are a fabulous idea because you can be so creative and free with them, put on some nice music in the background, make a coffee and just be totally creative with it! xx

  4. This is sooo gorgeous, Megan!!! I LOOVE your art for Psalm 62:8, Isaiah 50:16, and the “rest in christ” one … so pretty! I’ve never bible art-journaled before but I looove calligraphy-ing verses and seeing others’ beautiful artwork! Especially the beautiful hand-and-flowers one you made … it really brings out the meaning of the verse in such a tangible, touching way!

    1. Thank you thank you thank you Makayla!!! Eeek you’re so kind! 🤍🤍🤍 I really love calligraphy-ing verses too, its kind of like a fun little way of doing a different kind of quiet time and being creative and praising Jesus! 💕🤗

  5. Those are so pretty!!! I have mixed feelings about putting artwork in my Bible, but I use color pencils for highlighting verses (because they don’t bleed through) and that adds a pop of color!

    Anyways, love it!

    1. Thank you! Yes, I know what you mean… I was always so hesitant about it too, but I have a separate study Bible which I just highlight in. I love using colored pencils too… I don’t think I pictured any here but I have a few pencil designs!!

      Anyway, thank you!! 💗💗

    1. Thank you Allie! I’m so glad you liked! I’m pretty sure I just got the Bible off amazon… it’s the NIV journalling Bible with illustrations by Hannah Dunnett… it bascially has a few printed illustrated pages of verses which are divine! 💕

  6. I do love your journaling! I do have a “journaling bible” my husband bought one year for Christmas, I am not an artist that’s for sure; I love my Bible. I am doing a Bible plan right now called “Journaling Gratitude” through my Bible app and I love it. Although I’ve down some of it via my blog I need to take the time to get to my Bible!! May I ask what oens you are using? And I hope you are still doing it, it’s so good for our souls! Happy Journaling!

    1. Thank you sweet friend, yes, I am still journally but not so much artistically, more notes and things now! In terms of pens, I use mildliners and gelly roll pens quite a bit. For writing I use the Pilot G-2 07 gel pen, which I absolutly love! Thanks for stopping by and commenting, and happy journaling/ Bible reading to you too! ❤
