Decorate for Christmas With Me!

(BLOGMAS DAY 3)

You know Christmas has truly started when the house starts to look all festive! We’ve been decorating ever since the weekend when we put our tree up and our home finally looks all cosy and wintery!

For me at least, decorating my house and room is really the point in December when I start to feel actually ready for Christmas, so how could I not share my favourite decorations as a part of blogmas??

I started by decoarting my room with a few little bits… first I put new batteries in my fairy lights around my magnet board, just for a little added sparkle, and I think they look pretty cute!!

I also updated my chalk board with something a little more festive… yes, I know the Bible reference is wonky hehe!

I don’t like to go crazy in my room or anything but I did add these few little artsy bits…

Another fun thing I made was a live wreath for our front door… this is my third time making a wreath and honestly I love it! They’re so much fun to make and they add a little personal touch to the decorations. Not to mention that learning to make them yourself is SO much cheaper than paying to take part in a course or buying a premade one.

And of course the Christmas tree… the highlight of the house! We don’t really have any cooridanted decorations on our tree, we just fill it with decorations we’ve collected over the years. A little tradition in our family is that every Christmas, our parents will give my sisters and I a new decoration which we hang on the tree, and every year our collection keeps growing.

We don’t have a ton of decorations other than these, but they all help to make our home feel just a little bit cosier for the holidays! Tell me below, how do you like to decoarte for Chrismtas??
