Christmassy Week In The Life

(BLOGMAS DAY 12)

Happy Christmas Eve, friend!! Oh my goodness, I can not believe it… this is the end of blogmas! It has been so much fun (exhausting, but fun haha) and honestly I’m so sad that it’s over!

We’ve been off school for a whole week today (ever since last Friday) and my week since then has been pretty packed, so I thought it would be fun to bring you along!

We were actually supposed to get done with school on Friday but they decided to finish us a day earlier because of covid cases, which was actually kinda sad because I was looking forward to last day stuff, and saying goodbye to people before the break. Anyway, since I’d been planning to be in school that day, I didn’t have any plans so I ended up just going for lunch with a couple friends which was nice.

Saturday and Sunday I worked both days and then Sunday afternoon was our church carol service, during which I of course forgot to take any pictures. Monday morning I met a friend for breakfast at… you guessed it… starbucks. After breakfast we helped at our church’s craft morning for kids, and then got lunch and did a bit of Christmas shopping before dinner.

Tuesday, a friend came to paint my nails first thing in the morning, and then for the rest of the day my sister and I hung out at some friends’ house. In the evening we had a couple of different friends over to ours for pizza! Wednesday I met another friend for a walk and then I had a dentist appointment in the afternoon.

Then Thursday (yesterday) found me back in starbucks for most of the afternoon… I took my sister for lunch then she left and I got some work done, then I met a couple of friends for coffee. Thursday evening was movie night… we watched Home Alone, my fave!

And now it’s today! I worked for a few hours this morning, then came home and got ready real quick for church. For our family, Christmas eve is our ‘big deal’ day… so after church we came home for our traditional charcuterie style meal of roasted ham, cheese, crackers, crisps, veggies and grapes, with chocolate for dessert. After eating we opened all our gifts from each other and any family we’re not seeing, and now it’s the end of the day!

My week in pictures:

friday lunch
photo oppotunity
massive pizzas
sunrise
starbucks

dessert
youth group socks

more pizza

more starbucks
movie night
christmas gift

And there you have it, friend! A week in my life and the last post of blogmas 2021! How crazy!! Let me know down below what you’ve been up to during this week leading up to Christmas and what your plans are for this weekend!

Happy Christmas!

  1. Super cute! Adore these photos. I also had some great pizza in the week leading up to Christmas. I spent it with my mum and brother at their apartment- had a bit of an extended stay but there’s nothing wrong with that over the festive season! We ended up going for dinner one night so I could use my birthday voucher from a local restaurant. On Christmas day I had lunch at my Aunty’s mum’s place and the food spread there was amazing- chilli prawns, slow cooked lamb, chicken pie, potato and greek salad.. then pavlova for dessert. So delish x
