Happy happy happy Wednesday, friend! How are you doing?

I’ve been self isolating recently, which means a LOOOT of time stuck in my bedroom, watching Netflix (Dawson’s Creek, Gilmore Girls, I’m coming for yaaa!!) and not much time anywhere esle. One thing I have been doing to pass a bit of time, however is catching up on some Bible journaling. I’ve had an art journal Bible for quite, and all this free time has given me a reason to get back into it, so here I present to you: MY JOURNAL BIBLE FLIP THROUGH!

Friends… it is officially the season to be ‘fall-y’, the season of pumpkin spice and everything nice and of apple pies and autumn skies! I’m definetly a summer person but even I can’t help but get into the mood a little bit, what with the leaves turning all shades of red and golden, and the enticing aroma of my seasonal bakes fresh out of the oven…

The Quickest Thing I Ever Saw

‘That was the quickest thing I ever saw,’ I exclaimed to my dad.

One minute, I’d been sitting atop a hail bail watching the sun set, waiting for him to finish talking on the phone. I turned around to pick up my pup and the next thing I knew, the sunset was over.

The sky, previously streaked with orange and golden and pink, was now a deep shade of blue-grey. The magnificent painting that was the sunset had disappeared… and we were left standing in an empty field at dusk.

‘It did disappear pretty quick,’ my dad replied to me.

Love Like Jesus

I’ll be honest… I’ve never been great at memorising scripture. It’s something I want to work on, but it’s never really been something I’ve been all too brilliant at.

There are, however, a few passages that my parents taught me and my sisters when we were younger, that I don’t think I’ll ever forget. We would write them on a little chalkboard in the middle of our kitchen table and practice them every morning. The first was Galatians 5:22-23- the fruits of the Spirit. The second was the Lord’s prayer and the third, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8… the ‘love passage’.

Okay, how crazy is this: summer is nearly over! Wow, I’m not sure about you, but I can hardly believe it! I guess it’s true what they say about how time flies when you’re having fun, because this summer sure has been an amazing one, and it feels like it’s lasted no longer than a blink of an eye!

The Rain

It was a Wednesday evening more than a month ago when the rain finally came. The heatwave that had swept across England was just about over, and the rain was long overdue. The air was clammy and hot when I felt the first, fat drops. We ran inside clutching as much as we could and beat the downpour by a mere second- the moment the door shut, the heavens opened and the rain began to fall from the sky quicker and quicker.

Heyo, sweet friend!

It’s that time of the year again… the windows down, music up kind of time! I’ve upgraded my Spotify so I can have uninterrupted listening all summer and I’m pretty much blasting music 24-7!!! I’m in the ‘dancing round the kitchen whilst I do the dishes’ and the ‘fall asleep listening to music’ kinda moods!

I’ve not really done this kind of post before, but I though it would be SO fun to share what music I’m currently listening to and who my fave artists are at the moment.
