I don’t know if it’s the same for you, but I was so glad when 2020 ended. So much had happened that year; so much had changed in ways I never would have imagined or planned. Friend, it got to the end of 2020 and I was SO ready for the year to be over.
(BLOGMAS DAY 8) We had our church carol service last night, and it was so lovely. We all stood in the church garden, bundled into our coats and mittens and wrapped in scarves to keep out the biting wind. The kids cracked glow bracelets; the adults sipped mulled wine. When we were much younger, my sister and I shared a room. We had these white wooden bunk beds with matching pink patchwork bedding… I slept on the top and she slept on the bottom. Each night, before we would go to bed, my mom would come in to say goodnight and go through ourContinue reading “Turn Your Eyes”
